Gathering in the deer park

“What we need today, perhaps more than anything else, is vision that is penetrating, unblinkered and undistorted.  We need the Perfect Vision communicated by the Buddha… This is indeed a challenge that the Buddha lays before us, a challenge that has great implications for the way we live our lives.” 

It is Dharma Day!  The full moon celebration of the Buddha's first ‘turning the wheel of the Dharma’ and communicating what he had learnt.  During the weekend we will celebrate the difference the Dharma has made to our lives, we will marvel at the possibilities of transformation that the Dharma enables, and we will immerse ourselves into the truths that the Dharma reveals.  Do we dare take up the challenge that Dharma lays before us?
