Passing on the Flame: How to be an effective Dharma teacher

“Know your subject, love your subject, have been reflecting on the subject, mulling the subject over in your mind for some time so that the talk, or the lecture when you come to give it, is just the last stage, just the culmination of that particular process.”

(Sangharakshita)

A weekend led by Vajratara entering into the process of becoming an effective Dharma teacher.  Dharmacharinis have in them a wealth of Dharma practice, but sometimes the challenge is to communicate it to others.  Yet the Dharma will be lost to the next generation if we don’t communicate it.  This will be both a training, and a gathering of inspiration to spread the Dharma.  As Dr Ambedkar said, ‘To spread Buddhism is to serve mankind’.

For Dharmacharinis and invited GFR mitras only.
