Booking Procedure

In order to allow everyone a chance of getting on at least one longer retreat, we ask that initially you don't book on more than one long retreat a year. In January, we open up the bookings for you to book on a second retreat if you want to. If you book on a third retreat in a calendar year, we reserve the right to cancel the third booking.

To reserve a place, please book online

If possible, we ask that you pay the full cost of your retreat at the time of booking. If this is not possible, we offer an option to pay in two instalments. Please note, however, that the full payment must be received at least 6 weeks before the start of the retreat.  If you haven't paid the balance a month before the start, we may offer your place to someone on the waiting list.

Cancellation Policy

Most of our retreats book up quickly, but late cancellations can lead to places being left unfilled, since women on the waiting list often make other arrangements. This means women lose the opportunity to come on retreat here and Tiratanaloka loses income. To avoid the need for cancellation please be very sure about your dates before booking.

If you need to cancel a retreat please let us know as soon as possible. A deposit of £70 (long retreats) or £50 (weekends) will be deducted from your refund in all circumstances.

If you cancel less than 6 weeks before the retreat and we cannot replace you, you will be required to pay half the total of the retreat cost.

If you cancel less than a week before the retreat and we cannot replace you, you will incur the loss of the full cost of the retreat, except in exceptional circumstances.

Bursary Fund

We have a bursary fund for those who would otherwise not be able to afford to come on retreat with us at all during the year. Please contact the office if you would like to make an application to the bursary fund. To find out more please see our bursary fund section, and if you'd like to support others to come on retreat here you can do so via our Tiratanaloka Bursary Fund donation page.
