Buddha Mind - online study week

Buddha Mind online study week

We are offering study based on Sangharakshita's lectures from a booklet titled Buddha Mind.

At times in the spiritual life we may need considerable energy to overcome obstacles, such as negative emotions, psychological conditionings, rational thinking, and even the sense of 'time' itself. How, when, and where can we break through?  Join us for an online week of study, looking at different ways of considering this crucial turning point of the Buddhist spiritual life. If you'd like to listen to the talks, you can find here Breaking through into Buddhahood & Mind: Reactive and Creative .

The study week will involve daily study sessions from 10.30- 13.00 and we will also be leading through the Going for Refuge and Prostration Practice and have several evening rituals you can join.

We're offering this retreat without cost for those of you who are currently in financial difficulties but would be very grateful for contributions from those of you who are able as, along with other centres, we are facing a period of extended closure at Tiratanaloka.  You can now pay a flexible amount when you book online through our website.

The study will be led by Karunadhi, Prajnagita, Vandanajyoti, Vajrasakhi and Vajratara - looking forward to seeing you!

Monday, June 8, 2020 to Saturday, June 13, 2020
Suggested Donation:

Our normal rate for a 1-week retreat is between £230 and £300 and we'd welcome any contributions you can make.  Like other retreat centres Tiratanaloka is dependent on retreat income to meet our running costs.
